Attorney Profile

Matt Olson has been a licensed attorney in the State of Minnesota for over 20 years.   He began as an personal injury case investigator before completing law school and becoming an attorney.    Matt worked at two of the top litigation firms in the state of Minnesota before starting his own practice in 2002.   Matt travels throughout the state representing clients.   His experience includes: wrongful death personal injury, knee and spinal injury cases,  assaults, DWI, felony criminal charges, custody, divorce and parenting time motions and trials.

Representative Cases

Matt handles serious felonies including first degree drug cases, criminal sexual conduct cases, burglaries, robberies, felony DWI offenses. Matt has filed numerous expungements over the years to clear client’s records for employment and housing purposes.

Matt is an experienced trial attorney and has obtained large monetary recoveries for clients involving personal injury, wrongful death cases, medical malpractice,  brain injuries,  orthopedic injuries, spinal injuries, and facial disfigurements.   Matt represents clients injured in auto accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice and dog attack cases.

Matt began handling family law matters years ago after his personal injury and criminal defense clients wanted him to handle their divorces.   Since then, Matt has represented client’s in divorces, child custody matters, motions for parenting time, order for protections and harassment restraining orders, and many other domestic litigation matters.
